Admissions Process for Lamb School (Infants through PreK)

Lamb School is the Early Childhood Education Program of The Met Christian Academy. We have programs for children 6 months of age through four-year-olds.

  • Submit the Inquiry Form.
  • Our Admissions Coordinator will reach out to answer questions or schedule a tour.
  • The Application will be sent with corresponding school forms required for admittance. This is accessible through the Blackbaud Parent Portal.
  • Application Fee is non-refundable.
Admissions Process for Elementary School (TK - 5th)

For the 2025-2026 school year, we are accepting applications for transitional kindergarten, Kindergarten and first – 5th grade. Our transitional kindergarten program gives priority to those students who are pursuing an elementary education at TMCA and to those students who have attended Lamb School.

  • Fill out the Inquiry Form.
  • Our Admissions Coordinator will reach out to answer questions or schedule a tour.
  • The Application will be sent with corresponding paperwork required for admissions. This is accessed through the Blackbaud Parent Portal.
  • The Application Fee is non-refundable.
  • The student’s application will be reviewed.
  • Kindergarten applicants will be scheduled for a Kindergarten readiness assessment.
  • Elementary School applicants will be scheduled for a placement evaluation.

The Admissions Team will assess mission fit. For those applicants deemed a good fit for TMCA, the process continues with the following steps:

  • Family Interview
  • Decision Communicated

For The Met Christian Academy Elementary Applicants

Spiritual Considerations
  • Student and parents commit to active involvement in a local Christian church that is marked by weekly worship
  • Student and parents commit to being active partners in the school’s Christian philosophy of education
  • Student and parents support the administration and teaching staff in carrying out the vision and mission of the school
  • Student and parents practice biblical conflict resolution and communication when interacting with others in the school community
Behavioral Considerations
  • Student demonstrates good citizenship in previous school experiences
  • Student and parents commit to abiding by The Met Christian Academy’s behavior and discipline standards
Academic Considerations
  • Student demonstrates acceptable academic record from previous school(s)
  • Student is academically and developmentally prepared for requested grade
