ADMISSIONS PROCESS

Admissions Process for Lamb School (Infants through PreK)

Lamb School is the Early Childhood Education Cetner of The Met Christian Academy. We have programs for children 6 months of age through four-year-olds.

  • Register online.
  • Pay the registration fee ($150) online. This fee is non-refundable unless space is not available in your desired class.
  • The Registrar will communicate availability in desired class and email the enrollment packet once registration fee is received. Receipt of fee secures your child’s spot in the desired class.
  • Submit the Enrollment packet to complete the enrollment process.
  • Pay the Activity Fee. This fee is also non-refundable.
Admissions Process for Elementary School (TK - 5th)

For the 2024-2025 school year, we are accepting applications for transitional kindergarten, kindergarten, first grade and second grade. Our transitional kindergarten program gives priority to those students who are pursuing an elementary education at TMCA and to those students who have attended Lamb School.

  • Fill out the online Application Portal Request form to receive a password below.
  • Complete online application.
  • The Registrar will bill for the application fee ($200) through Procare and provide instructions for payment.
  • Application will enter the review process once the application fee is received.
  • Kindergarten applicants will be scheduled for a Kindergarten readiness assessment.
  • Elementary School applicants will be scheduled for a placement evaluation.
  • Collect documentations
    • Teacher Recommendation Form
    • Progress Report from previous school (Transitional Kinder and Kinder applicants)
    • Report Card from previous school (Elementary applicants)

The Admissions Team will assess mission fit. For those applicants deemed a good fit for TMCA, the process continues with the following steps:

  • Family Interview
  • Decision Communicated

Upon acceptance to the elementary school, you will receive the grade appropriate enrollment packet which must be completed and submitted with the Curriculum Fee to complete the admissions process.

Once admitted, families must submit an enrollment packet and will also receive important information regarding dress standards (uniforms are purchased from Land’s End and Dennis Uniform), school supplies required and

Spiritual Considerations
  • Student and parents commit to active involvement in a local Christian church that is marked by weekly worship
  • Student and parents commit to being active partners in the school’s Christian philosophy of education
  • Student and parents support the administration and teaching staff in carrying out the vision and mission of the school
  • Student and parents practice biblical conflict resolution and communication when interacting with others in the school community
Behavioral Considerations
  • Student demonstrates good citizenship in previous school experiences
  • Student and parents commit to abiding by The Met Christian Academy’s behavior and discipline standards
Academic Considerations
  • Student demonstrates acceptable academic record from previous school(s)
  • Student is academically and developmentally prepared for requested grade
